On December 12, 2025, Kyiv University of Law (KUL) of the NAS of Ukraine celebrated its 30th anniversary. The festivities took place in the hall of the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P. I. Tchaikovsky with the participation of the university community, representatives of state authorities, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and partners.
The rector of KUL NAS of Ukraine, Yuriy Boshytskyi, gave a welcoming speech, outlining the main stages of the university's development and emphasizing the role of the academic community in shaping modern legal education.
People's Deputy of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko took part in the celebration, noting the university's contribution to the development of legal education and science and presented a Certificate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the institution's staff.
Member of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Pyrozhkov, conveyed greetings on behalf of the President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Anatoliy Zahorodniy, and emphasized the university's importance for the development of the legal school and the expert community of the state.
As part of the celebrations, awards were given to employees, scientific and pedagogical staff, and students, as well as honors from state authorities and local self-government bodies.
The highlight of the celebration was the ceremony of canceling a commemorative stamp dedicated to the university's 30th anniversary.
The festivities concluded with a concert program featuring artists from the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P. I. Tchaikovsky.
