Today, scientists are increasingly talking about a new direction in molecular biology – epigenetics.
What is epigenetics? What mechanisms of human body functioning can it explain? How does it help fight cancer? Why have the so-called "junk" RNAs become the subject of the most active research? How are innovative medicines created?
These and other relevant questions were answered in a conversation with the Vice President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Seminozhenko (program "About Science.
