Journalists from "RBC-Ukraine" visited the Main Astronomical Observatory of the NAS of Ukraine in Kyiv and learned about the history of the founding of this unique institution, the main directions of astronomers' scientific research, unusual discoveries and developments by scientists, the museum exhibition operating on the observatory's grounds, as well as how to get a tour at the MAO and what interesting things can be seen.
The tour for guests was conducted by the head of the laboratory for methodological and informational support of astronomical education and science, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Mykhailo Lashko.
