29 січня 2025 року на базі Інституту економіки та прогнозування НАН України у форматі відеоконференції відбудеться міжнародна науково-практична конференція «Наукова спадщина Михайла Туган-Барановського як концептуальне підґрунтя суспільного розвитку», присвячена 160-й річниці від дня народження видатного українського вченого, співзасновника Національної академії наук України, першого міністра фінансів уряду України Михайла Івановича Туган-Барановського (1865–1919).
Співорганізатори заходу:

Завдання конференції – актуалізація наукової спадщини видатного українського вченого-економіста і державотворця Михайла Туган-Барановського та сприяння творчому розвиткові його наукових ідей для подолання глобальних викликів, що постають перед економікою, державою, наукою та суспільством України.
Тематичні напрями для виступів і обговорення:
1. Фундаментальний внесок Михайла Туган-Барановського у розвиток економічної науки.
2. Історичні особливості державотворення в Україні та актуальні питання державного управління.
3. Становлення і розвиток Національної академії наук України як інституту розбудови держави.
4. Новітні макроекономічні трансформації та шляхи попередження криз.
5. Актуальні питання розвитку соціальних досліджень і соціальної політики.
6. Сучасні тенденції розвитку світової економіки в контексті циклічності економічної динаміки.
7. Відкрита наука як чинник інноваційного розвитку та суспільного прогресу.
8. Прогностичний потенціал наукових ідей Михайла Туган-Барановського для забезпечення економічної та національної безпеки.
Для участі у заході потрібно до 20 січня 2025 року подати заявку і тези виступів для публікації.

International scientific and practical conference
"The scientific heritage of Mykhailo Tuhan-Baranovsky as a conceptual foundation for social development"
dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian scholar, co-founder of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the first Minister of Finance of the Government of Ukraine

The event will take place on January 29, 2025, in the format of a Zoom meeting (Kyiv).

Objective: To highlight the scientific legacy of the outstanding Ukrainian economist and statesman M. Tuhan-Baranovsky and to foster the creative development of his scientific ideas to address global challenges facing the economy, the state, science, and society in Ukraine.

- Historical aspects of state-building in Ukraine and current issues of public administration.
- The formation and development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as an institution for state-building.
- Modern macroeconomic transformations and crisis prevention strategies.
- Current issues in development of social research and social policy.
- Contemporary trends in the global economy in the context of cyclical economic dynamics.
- Open science as a factor of innovative development and social progress.
- The predictive potential of M. Tuhan-Baranovsky's scientific ideas for ensuring economic and national security.
