Maryna Popova received her Master's Degree in Ecology in 2009 in Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. From 2009 to 2012 she studied at the postgraduate course of the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of NAS of Ukraine, specialty 05.13.06 "Information Technologies". In 2015, she defended her dissertation on the topic "Ontology of interaction in the environment of geoinformation system" and received a scientific degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences (Ph.D). Scientific adviser of the dissertation Ph.D. O.Stryzhak. The dissertation is devoted to solving the actual scientific and technical problem of increasing the efficiency of interaction of users with distributed information resources, systems and among themselves in the environment of the geoinformation system through the development and implementation of interaction ontologies. Since June 2016 she is Head of the department of creation and use of intellectual network tools of the National Center "Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine".
She has published more than 100 scientific papers.
