She was born on August 4, 1925. In 1944-1949 she was a student at the Chemical Faculty of the Kyiv State University. In 1950-1954 was senior laboratory assistant at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. From 1954 until the last year of his life (more than 50 years) she worked at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry. While working as a laboratory assistant, then an engineer and junior researcher, she showed herself a talented and independent experimenter and performed a large number of research on the chemistry of complex compounds of rare-earth elements. For the time of defense of the candidate's thesis (1960) he was co-author of 22 printed works.
In 1970 he defended his dissertation for obtaining a scientific degree of the Doctor of Chemical Sciences, became a leading specialist in the field of chemistry of coordination compounds, initially led by a group of employees, and since 1979 headed the department of analysis of inorganic materials. Under her guidance, the laws of complex formation of f- and d-metals with complexones, hydroxy acids and β-diketones in solutions were studied, physical methods of research and analysis of complex multicomponent systems, including biological ones, were developed and applied. Generalizations in the field of coordination chemistry of rare-earth metals were made, the dependence between thermodynamic characteristics, electronic structure and structure was established, and the ways of directional synthesis of new compounds were found.
The main scientific direction of the work of her department was the synthesis of inorganic materials for new technique using complex compounds of rare-earth elements. Work was also performed on the tasks of the State Committee for Science and Technique and the decision of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, among which the synthesis of objects of bioorganic chemistry and the establishment of their structure. The drugs that enhance the formation of seeds and the productivity of alfalfa, the yield of grapes, fruit crops, and cotton were proposed, tested and implemented. Works on the creation of biologically active drugs were awarded medals VDNKh USSR (Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics).
She actively work as a scientist and organizer, was a member of 3 Sections of the Scientific Council on the Problem "Inorganic Chemistry", a member of the Kiev City Council, D. I. Mendeleev All-Union Chemical Society, was repeatedly a member of the organizing committees of the All-Union meetings, for many years was a member of the Academic Council of the Institute. For merits in the development of chemical science and training of scientific staff she twice was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR and the Republican Committee of Trade Unions of Education, Higher School and Research Institutions, a diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. In 2003, among the first women of Kyiv, he was awarded the Order of Princess Olga of III degree.
She co-author of 6 monographs, over 300 scientific articles, 15 copyright certificates. More than 20 her students successfully defended their PhD theses. She died on June 27, 2006.
