Title: | Nanostructured composite materials based on oxides of chromium, cobalt and manganese |
Type of product: | Release of new product: material |
Description: | Oxide compounds of Cr, Co, Mn and composites based on them Cr-Co and Mn-Co synthesized from aqueous fluoride electrolytes |
Technical advantages: | The prepared nanocomposites based on oxide, cobalt and chromium compounds in comparison with individual compounds have higher conductivity (~10-5 S/cm), the catalytic activity in the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide and power capacity in lithium power sources (230-240 mA•h/g). They are promising as cathode materials for chemical power sources due to a significant decrease in the number of manufacturing operations for its preparation.
The nanocomposites synthesized have higher coefficient of absorption of solar radiation (0.98%) compared with samples world-known manufacturers such as Thermosol (0.94%) and Cromogen (0.95%). This fact shows that these composite materials are promising as selective coatings for solar collectors. |
