06132 Title: | Sperconducting YBa2Cu3O7-δ-based melt textured ceramics | Type of product: | Improving the quality of products(Blocks of bulk and thin-walled MT-YBaCuO сeramics) | Description: | The technology has been developed of melt textured YBa2Cu3O7-δ (MT-YBaCuO) (bulk and thin walled) preparation according to which the oxygenation for imparting to the material the superconducting properties is conducted under enhanced oxygen pressures (up to 10-16 МPа) and high temperature (700-900 С), which allow to attain the record values of critical current density (jc ≅ 100 kА/сm2 at 77 K in 0 Т field and 55 kА/сm2 at 77 K in 2 Тл field), field of irreversibility (Вirr = 9,5 Тл at 77 К in ab-plain of Y123) and mechanical characteristics (microhardness up to HV = 7.6 GPа and fracture toughness K1c = 4.4 МPа⋅m0,5 at 4.9 N-load). | Technical advantages: | The developed technology which stipulate the oxygenation under elevated pressured and high temperatures allows essentially reduce the time of oxygenation (from 14-20 down to 3 days) and to attain record values of superconducting and mechanic characteristics due to formation of high density of twins (~ 20-35 μm-1) even without presence of stacking faults and dislocations, and as well due to an increase of diffusion rate, suppression of cracks formation because of the reduction of mechanical stresses during oxygen penetration (which occur due to the decrease of c-parameter of YBa2Cu3O7-δ). | The economic benefits: | | The impact on the environment. Environment: | | The stage of completion: | Prototype | Implementation: | not implemented | Intellectual Property Rights: | "Know-how" | Forms and conditions of transfer of products: | Collaborative research (ROC) |
