The issue of the journal "Bulletin of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" for November 2025 has been published.
The issue opens with information about the Reporting and Election Session of the General Assembly of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the election of the President of the NAS of Ukraine and members of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine, which took place from October 6 to 9, 2025.
Next is the report at the reporting session of the General Assembly of the NAS of Ukraine by the President of the NAS of Ukraine, academician Anatoliy Zahorodniy "The Academy in times of challenges: results of five years".
How the Jubilee Session of the General Assembly of the NAS of Ukraine, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of academician I.R. Yukhnovskyi, held on September 18, 2025, unfolded can be learned from the material "A representative of the golden generation of the creators of Ukrainian Independence".
In the section "From the Department of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine," materials of scientific reports delivered at the meeting of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine on September 10, 2025, are presented:
"Geomechanical support for the efficiency of technological processes of ore mining in the Kryvyi Rih iron ore basin" (speaker – rector of Kryvyi Rih National University, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine Mykola Stupnik);
"War crimes in Ukraine: the current state of judicial proceedings and main problems of judicial practice" (speaker – head of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminology, and Judiciary of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law Zoya Zahiney-Zabolotenko).
In the section "Articles and Reviews," the article "The pulse of Ukrainian society: social tension in times of war" by academician of the NAS of Ukraine Mykhailo Zgurovskyi and corresponding member of the NAPS of Ukraine Mykola Slyusarevskyi is published.
The article by the head of the Department of Digital Automata Theory of the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Oleksandr Letychevskyi, discusses "Insertion modeling and digital twin technology".
"Relevant directions of research on the synanthropization of Ukraine's vegetation cover" is the subject of an article by scientists from the M.H. Kholodny Institute of Botany of the NAS of Ukraine, the State Institution "Institute of Evolutionary Ecology of the NAS of Ukraine," the Botanical Garden named after academician O.V. Fomin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and the State Dendrological Park "Oleksandriya" of the NAS of Ukraine.
"The gender question through the years: dynamics of gender distribution on the example of the journal 'Bulletin of the NAS of Ukraine'" is highlighted in the article by the director of the Publishing House "Akademperiodyka" of the NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Geological Sciences
At the end of the issue, congratulatory publications are placed on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of academician of the NAS of Ukraine V.L. Bohdanov, the 80th anniversary of corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine V.Yu. Rozov, the 75th anniversary of corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine V.O. Shapovalov, and the 70th anniversary of corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine O.M. Fainleib.
