Nuclear energy is a matter of independence, security, and the future of Ukraine. Especially in wartime conditions, energy stability is one of the key factors for the survival and development of the state.
But along with the great opportunities that nuclear energy provides, there are also a number of problematic issues, including what to do with radioactive waste, how the approach to its disposal is changing, which technologies can become breakthrough, and what innovative approaches scientists of the Academy propose and implement. This and more was discussed in an interview with academician of the NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Seminozhenko in the program "About Science.
